Makeover

Below is the before and after shot of
an exterior remodel project.  The siding
had become dated and was beginning to
blow off in the wind. The windows and doors were
drafty and needed replaced.

We replaced the siding with Mastic dutch lap
vinyl siding. The old windows were removed and new Marvin
windows were installed.  If you look closely you can see
that the 2nd floor windows are now separate units
rather than mulled together. The porch posts were
replaced, as well as the doors.  It was a fun project
and we love results!

Kitchen Renovation

Earlier this year we had the privilege of
renovating a kitchen for a very nice couple. The kitchen
in the house was original and lacked the necessary
counter and cabinet space for a modern kitchen.  It also had a large
window and a chimney that were taking up valuable room.

Chimney has been removed from corner.

You'll see in the after pictures that
we reduced the window height to allow space for a dishwasher and
counter top.  We also added a peninsula which helped
to maximize storage.  The former chimney location has become
a great place to feed and water the family pet!

Living Room Addition

In this project we worked with a family that
loved their neighborhood,
but their floor plan was a little too small.  They worked
with a designer to come up with an addition that
met their need for living and entertainment space and
the full basement helped add some useful storage.
We really enjoyed working with the family
and were happy to help make their home a little more functional!

In the photo below you can see where
we extended the roof line of the home.  This made the home look
more substantial and better protected from the weather.

The home had a small addition and patio
on the back that we removed.
